Several bus routes pass by Stonehenge, making it easily accessible from various parts of Salisbury and beyond. You can catch a bus from Salisbury Train Station to the Stonehenge Visitor Center, which is just a short walk from the monument itself.
By Train
If you’re coming from London, take a direct train to Salisbury, which takes around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Salisbury Station, you can hop on a bus or take a taxi to the Stonehenge Visitor Center for the start of your walking tour.
By Car
Stonehenge is located off the A303 motorway. There is ample parking at the Stonehenge Visitor Center, and once parked, you’ll enjoy a short walk to the iconic stones, passing through stunning countryside views.
